Equality, diversity and inclusion
As the UK-based cultural organisation, the Learned Association Societas Celto-Slavica is strongly committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. Our work is centred on developing wholly inclusive, meaningful and mutually respectful research and cultural relationships between the Celtic and the Slavic traditions, including the promulgation of cultural and linguistic diversity in the Slavic countries and Celtic-speaking regions of the UK and the EU, minority language rights, minority language policy and planning support, various cultural and research initiatives. We are not in the position to carry this out unless the Society commits itself to equality, inclusion and valuing diversity.
Our Equality policy sets out how we approach the challenges of building equality, diversity and inclusion principles into the work of the Society at its national branches and internationally, and we aspire to integrate these principles as a part of everything we commit ourselves to and accomplish.
